We are placing musicians in Primary Schools so that they can share the passion and joy of music making with hundreds of children every week. We aim to place musicians in as many schools as possible for a term at a time, hoping to extend the relationship between musician and school for longer if possible.
Curriculum coverage is delivered by musicians who have been trained by us to come up with the ideas, resources and creative approach to music that schools need. If there is a longer relationship with the musician and the school then we also hope to inspire other teachers at the school to be more confident and more creative and therefore engage with the music curriculum more as a result.
We can train you as a musician if you do not have qualified teacher status, so that you can understand and withstand the rigours of the primary music curriculum.
